Located on the first floor, the Drawing Room is one of the most versatile rooms in the Hall. The room has the largest William Morris woven wall hangings in the country, hung in place of wallpaper, along with portraits of Past Masters of the Company.

A feature fireplace, library wall and unique collection of artifacts add to the charm of the room.

A room with a true wow factor, the Banqueting Hall features ornate plasterwork ceilings, chandeliers and oak panelling, conjuring up heraldic imagery. The stained glass windows record the Ironmongers' Company’s connections with the Monarchy and past Lord Mayors of the City of London.

Smarter Background Checking: From Checks to Trust is designed for senior professionals responsible for background screening, talent acquisition, HR operations, compliance, workforce risk, security and hiring technology.

The event will bring together employers and selected industry experts from across a range of sectors. 

Can I attend if I work for a background screening provider?

To maintain the employer-led and discussion-focused nature of the event, attendance for background screening providers and screening technology vendors is limited to official event partners.

If you are a provider interested in attending, there are a small number of partnership opportunities available which include event access and the opportunity to participate in the wider conversation. Please contact the Background Check Advisory team to learn more.

Is this a sales lead conference?

No. The event is deliberately designed around discussion rather than sales pitches. 

Our partners help facilitate conversations, share expertise and explore real-world challenges, with plenty of opportunity for attendees to learn from each other. 

What are the Trust Signal Labs?

Our Trust Signal Labs are small, interactive table discussions focused on real hiring and screening challenges.

Rather than sitting through another presentation, attendees will work through practical questions with peers and industry experts, share experiences and explore different approaches.

Is there a cost to attend?

Places are complimentary for invited employer attendees, but registration is subject to confirmation.

Attendance is deliberately limited to approximately 100 people so we can maintain a senior, curated and highly interactive audience.

Your confirmed attendance includes the full event programme, interactive Trust Signal Lab sessions, refreshments, lunch and the end-of-event networking drinks reception. The event runs from 08:30 to 17:00 at Ironmongers’ Hall in central London.
