The Next Big Conversation About the Future of Hiring Trust
Join a curated group of 100 senior leaders from across screening, hiring and workforce risk as we explore the people, ideas and technologies shaping the future of hiring confidence
Tuesday 3 November 2026
Ironmongers’ Hall, London
08:30 – 17:00
The background screening industry is undergoing one of its biggest transformations in decades.
AI-generated candidates & CVs, increasingly sophisticated ID fraud, faster hiring processes & changing workforce behaviours are making many of the signals organisations have traditionally relied on harder to trust.
Smarter Background Checking: From Checks to Trust brings together senior employers, screening leaders and technology experts to explore what this changing landscape means and how organisations can build greater confidence in the people they hire.
Why Should You Attend?
The Hiring Trust Landscape Has Changed
For years, organisations have relied on familiar hiring signals to make confident decisions about candidates.
But those signals are changing.
AI can create convincing CVs and candidate profiles in seconds. Identity fraud is moving further upstream in the recruitment process. Hiring teams are under pressure to move faster. And organisations increasingly need to think beyond whether a check has simply been completed.
The bigger question is:
How confident are you in the person you are actually hiring?
At Smarter Background Checking From Checks to Trust, we will explore how employers can rethink background screening around a broader model of hiring trust, bringing together identity, verification, technology, human interaction, risk signals and screening to create stronger hiring decisions.
